We have always enjoyed the romantic side of wine and in 2012 the fascination of wine making became an obsession!  Year after year we had the desire to create better wines which led us to a dream!  In 2014 Mitch and Julie Corbett acquired the beautiful piece of land for Smokin’ Barrel Winery and the story began! 

We established our private estate on the property in 2017 and started growing five different varietals!  Smokin’ Barrel Winery also selects local grape varietals and crafts them into some of this area’s finest wines!  Through years of dedication and sacrifice we have created our paradise!  We welcome you to join us for our wine tasting experience and become part of the Smokin’ Barrel Winery family!  

Smokin’ Barrel Winery is located in the heart of the Placer Wine Trail in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains. We are known for providing a relaxed and comfortable outdoor country environment for people who want to share the same passion for wine as we do.
